Hello and welcome. My name is Bruno, and I am a Unity Game Developer specializing in gameplay systems, tool development, and scalable game architecture.
I have nearly four years of experience developing commercial and indie game projects, working with Unity, C#, gameplay programming, debugging, optimization, and codebase refactoring. My focus is building maintainable and extensible systems that support long-term project growth while following clean code principles, software architecture best practices, and industry-standard design patterns.
Throughout my career, I have published tools on the Unity Asset Store and contributed to the development and release of the commercial Steam title Coffee Break Paradise. This experience has given me a strong understanding of the entire game development pipeline, from gameplay implementation and level design to asset integration, optimization, and production workflows.
I enjoy solving complex technical challenges, creating efficient development tools, and designing systems that are robust, scalable, and easy to maintain. I also leverage modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to accelerate workflows, improve productivity, and streamline development while maintaining high standards of code quality and reliability.
In addition to programming, I use Blender and Photoshop to create, optimize, and adapt visual assets when needed, helping bridge the gap between technical and artistic requirements.

This tool was architected and developed for my own personal project. Due to its quality and ease of setup, I decided to release it on the Unity Asset Store.

This project was developed in collaboration with a partner, and not all aspects of the game were created by me. My primary responsibilities focused on the construction system, gameplay loop implementation, and several core gameplay systems.

This was my first original game project developed in Unity and represents an important milestone in my growth as a game developer. While the project has not yet been released, it provided the opportunity to explore larger-scale game development challenges and significantly expand my technical and design skills.
The project remains an important part of my portfolio because it reflects my transition from learning game development concepts to designing and implementing complete gameplay systems within a production environment.

This a 2D math educational game prototype that I had to develope in 20 hours as a test for a job position. Each spaceship contains an math expression and you must find the correct box with the result and deliver to the spaceship.

I believe it is important to showcase this work, as it marks the beginning of my journey in game development. About four years ago, while working on this mod for Project Zomboid, I realized that my passion was creating games. Everything I have accomplished since then started with the development and publication of this mod on Steam.
